Okay, this was actually my second month receiving this. I was s excited when I got my first month that I used a bunch of it writing letters before I remembered to take photos for a review. So, I just skipped doing a review for that month.
The envelopes that the stationary comes in is always gorgeous but I apparently didn’t get a photo of it. I’ll get one of next months.
On to the stationary..
In the $10 subscription, which is what I get, you get 4 sheets each of 6 different designs. There is always a mix of lined and not lined and as far as I know there is no way to state any kind of preferences. Each months designs are different (again as far as I know there are never repeats but I imagine some prints may repeat eventually if you stay subscribed long enough).
This is cute design. Rainbow elephants border the pages. It is lined, which is the type I prefer. It is a bit basic and not their prettiest design but I quite like it.
A flowered unlined print with a green background. This has a very old fashioned, classic stationary look. It reminds me of something my grandmother may have written me on when I was a kid.
A grid design (which I’ll count as being lined) with feet in sneakers on the top corner. This is one of my favorites that I have ever received. It’s absolutely adorable. Not overdone but cute enough to make me smile looking at it.
Unlined with a red border and a joke about pizza at the top.
This is my least favorite out of both months I have recieved. It doesn’t appeal to me visually and it isn’t funny to me. Probably because my food intolerances mean I don’t really get to eat pizza anymore.
My camera didn’t show up this color very well (and I can’t remember what the color was but I’ll fix this after I check). It has music notes at the top and is lined, though. It’s very cute and will be the first one I use a sheet out of.
Unlined, aged looking tan with a classic car and a sketch of what looks like a 1950’s teenage boy and girl. This is one of my favorites, despite being unlined.
Cute little thank you card.
You can visit the website on the card if you would like to subscribe. They have 3 options. You always get 6 designs but you can get more sheets of each design. The one I subscribe to is the cheapest at $10.
If you just want to purchase stationary you can do so at their etsy shop but there are some designs in each months subscription that are only available in the subscription.
If you are interested in stationary and writing and receiving letters might I also recommend The League of Extraordinary Penpals: http://www.extraordinarypenpals.com
I also write a zine called Letter Box that is all about ways to receive mail. So, it may also interest you. 🙂
I also got this set this month. I’m with you on the pizza paper, it’s my least favourite too.
Hi, Deborah-Anne here! If you liked the green one, I can swap you some sheets :). I am not great at writing without lines haha.
I don’t get the comments from here on my phone. So, I’m just now seeing this. lol. Send me messages on Facebook or email at roboticexpression@gmail.com and I get them faster. 🙂
