I was subscribed to this once before when I was pregnant but I canceled it because I didn’t feel like I really needed it and we couldn’t really spare the money for the bundle if it wasn’t needed.
Recently, the need for it arose. My daughter can’t drink formula due to food allergies. She is only 6 months old, though. So, she needs DHA and vitamins that she doesn’t get from baby food and juice. I subscribed to this bundle to get her multi vitamin powder that I knew was free of things she couldn’t have and to get her liquid DHA.
I could have gotten the liquid DHA from Target but it was cheaper to get the bundle with the DHA and vitamins and free shipping. I got free shipping since I already am subscribed to two other bundles.
In the Health & Wellness bundle you can pick two of their health & wellness products for $39.95. It seems expensive and it is but when I looked for products that were guaranteed free of the things I needed them to be free of I found out the price isn’t bad at all. Vitamin powder for infants is especially hard to find.
The Honest Company vitamin powder for babies and toddlers comes in individual serving size pouches.
Each packet is 30 calories and contains enough supplemental vitamins for a baby for one day. Toddlers get two packets a day.
The powder is formulated from whole fruits and veggies. We weren’t sure how they would do with my daughter because she hadn’t tried all the fruits and veggies in the powder to know if they were all safe foods for her but she has not had a reaction. So, it seems all is well.
You get 30 packets in each box.
The baby DHA is sourced from wild caught fish and also contains tangerine oil. The tangerine oil is very strong smelling. The baby seems to like it, though. I mix it in to juice or pedialite. It does look oily and doesn’t actually mix with the liquid but it works better than trying to give it to her from the dropper.
A dose for my daughter’s weight (12lbs) is 1ml, which contains 10 calories. I’m not sure if 1 bottle will last a whole month but it might. If not I can add some extra to my diaper bundle and then get two in my vitamin bundle.
