I ordered this and then forgot I ordered it. This is the Gluten Free mini box. It was $9 because of some special discount I got. Normally this box is $19. All of the gluten free boxes are ridiculously expensive. You can get this box for $9 if you prepay for months in advance.
First look in the box.
Good view of everything. There are options to get more snacks but those boxes are way out of my budget.
Mini Nud Spirulina Banana Crisps
Raw Gluten Free Vegan
These appear to be crisps made from banana, coconut, sesame seeds and spirulina.
Sol Simple Organic Bananas
These are just dried bananas but they don’t look very dry. They look super sticky inside the pack.
Qauncha Air Toasted Heirloom Corn Snack
Chulpe corn, avocado oil and seasalt. Banana and avocado (two things I am allergic to) seem to be an annoying theme in this box.
Seapoint Farms Dry-Roasted Edamame
Just soybeans and sea salt. These look pretty good.
Dark Angell Organic Candy Bar
Dark chocolate and almond based candy bar.
I’m saving all the snacks for the long drive coming up when we move. So, nothing has been opened and tasted yet. They sound pretty good, though. Although, I can’t eat all of them myself I’m sure they will get eaten.
This box may have been worth the $9 I paid but I wouldn’t feel it was even close to being worth $19. I cancelled my subscription. I think this box is ONLY worth the cost at all if you pay in advance enough months (6 or 12 I think) to bring the cost down to $9 a box.
I really wish someone would make a $10 box that is gluten free. I know it could be done. There ARE affordable gluten free snacks. *sigh*
