Wow, that is one ugly bag. Which is to bad. I like the feel of the material. It’s a heavy cloth but that design is hideous.
I don’t really think the products match the “Summer Lovin” theme but I’ve noticed that happens a lot.
I got an okay bag this month. It isn’t my most favoritest ever or anything but it’s not a bad bag.
BrightenUp! Enzymatic Face Rejuvenator
I don’t use cleansers. I can’t use any of them that I have tried, no matter how gentle they are. So, I won’t be trying this. I’ll just put it in my trade box. It’s a big size sample, though. It seems to have really good value. I actually have two of these. I got one before (in Birchbox, I think)
Gel Effect Nailpolish in 4 Alarm Fire
This is a good formula nail polish. It had good coverage with just one coat and it dried fast. This color, however, is awful. It looks like 1980’s Grandmother nail polish. I may keep this just because nail polish is a bitch to ship but it is not a polish I will use often.
Amazonian Clay Waterproof Bronzer in Park Ave Princess
I may keep this to use as an eye shadow. My skin is very pale and I usually can’t use bronzers without looking ridiculous. I can’t tell if this is a full size or a sample. If it’s a sample it is the largest sample I have ever seen of a powder makeup product.
*Edit: I tried this as an eyeshadow and it works well as a base color but is lighter than I’d like for a eyeshadow to be. It’s way to dark to use as an all over color or highlighter on my face, though.
Lip Balm in Ruby
I really love this lip balm. It feels moisturizing and has just a hint of color. The only thing that would make me like it more would be if it has just a bit of subtle flavor. Overall it’s my favorite lip balm I have gotten in a long time, though.
I don’t know why people complain about getting lip balms. I love them and they ARE great Summer products. It irritates me to no end when people refer to lip balms from high end companies as “chap stick”. Chapstick is a name brand product that costs $1 at Walmart. It is not a catch all name for all lip balms. They are not all the same quality and certainly don’t all cost $1 and some of us highly prefer lip balms over the dry ugly lip sticks that are more commonly sent in these boxes.
La Playa Sea Salt Infused Spray With Algae Extract
I usually really like sea salt sprays. I haven’t tried this one yet but its a large sample and I’m hoping I like it and can keep it.
This is an improvement over my last two month’s products. I got 3 products I will likely end up keeping and liking. I am still considering canceling ipsy as soon as I use up my ipsy points but good bags like this make me less eager to do so.
