I first had to change my brands of pantyliners and pads. I switched to Natracare and Seventh Generation and Honest Company depending on what is most convienant to get. Then I realized that that wasn’t enough. I also had to switch toilet paper. I have used Scott pretty much my entire life. Suddenly bleached products were an issue, though.
Even most of the natural brands aren’t unbleached. This was the only brand I could find that was. I purchased it from Thrive Market because that was the cheapest price I could find.
I paid $10 for a 12 pack of Seventh Generation Unbleached Bathroom Tissue. I haven’t had any kind of allergy issues with it.
It doesn’t last as long as Scott but it lasts longer than the really cheap kinds. I haven’t really felt ripped off or anything. I mean if you need unbleached tissue anyway it isn’t like you have a ton of options and considering how much advantage they could take of that I feel like these rolls last decently. I will say that I’m the only female in the house that uses it, though. It’s just me and my husband and our daughter. And our daughter is still in diapers.
Texture wise it reminds me of Scott. It isn’t super Charmin soft. Personally I hate Charmin and think it feels like it leaves a residue behind and if I use it to blow my nose when I have a cold it makes me feel more stopped up. So, not being like Charmin is a good thing to me.
I really don’t have any major complaints about this tissue. If you’d like to try to you can buy it on Thrive Market here: http://thrv.me/AdC1UW
If you sign up for an account you get a month free membership. You can buy all you want during that month and cancel or pay for a yearly subscription if you decide it’s worth it for you. I had planned to cancel when I signed up and ended up keeping it because I can save so much money buying speciality things from there as opposed to Earth Fare or Whole Foods. It’s a pretty awesome company.
If you don’t want to sign up for Thrive Market you can also buy Seventh Generation products in stores like Whole Foods.
