It isn’t easy to find dolls that she likes. She only likes ones that are soft, a certain size (around the size of a Barbie or a little larger) and that look like adults or older children. She doesn’t like ones that look like babies.
So when I came across the doll above at Walmart I bought it immediately. It was the only one Walmart had but when my daughter clearly liked it I looked them up online and found that their are three in the series. So, I purchase the blonde one as well from Amazon.
The dolls are very well made and sturdy. They’ve held up to my toddler. She doesn’t chew on her toys, though. So, I can’t vouch for durability or safety on that. They held up well in the washing machine, though.
If you have an older child the dolls do come with stickers. I imagine a child in the Girl Scouts would be especially interested in the stickers and they could even be used to teach badges and things in Girl Scout troops.
The dolls seem to cost about $10 a piece (that’s what I paid for the two we have anyway) and they can be purchased on Amazon or I’m sure in some stores besides Walmart but I’ve personally only seen them at Walmart and Amazon.
