They’re $6.99 regular price most places but catching sales or finding coupons and rebates is possible and not difficult if you keep watch for them.
You can eat them after defrosting without heating them but they’re pretty dense and heating them really softens them and gives them a better texture.
I eat them with a fork because they do crumble like most muffins will and I don’t like making a mess eating. Eating them by hand is possible though. If you don’t mind crumbs.
They’re actually pretty delicious. They’re sweet but not to sweet and full of they’re blueberries. The texture, after heating, is perfect and they last a few days on the counter defrosted but unheated. Once you heat one eat it quickly, though. They get rubbery if let cool to much again. Although I have heated one a second time and it’s still edible. Just not as good as if eaten soon after one heating.
These are definitely my favorite of the GF muffins I’ve tried. I recommend them for sure. They are pricey but so are any muffins at a coffee shop and these are on par with those in size (but better tasting and gluten free). Plus, you can get coupons and they do go on sale often.
